Jordan Freezes September 2026 Fuel Prices

Jordan's Fuel Pricing Committee decided, at its regular Monday meeting, to freeze September 2026 fuel prices at August levels, despite rising global crude and refined product prices — particularly diesel and kerosene.
September 2026 Fuel Prices in Jordan
Octane 90: 1,000 fils/liter
Octane 95: 1,310 fils/liter
Diesel: 850 fils/liter
Kerosene: 550 fils/liter
12.5kg LPG cylinder: JD 7
The government also continues subsidizing industrial LPG at a cost of up to JD1.6 million for September.
Cumulative Treasury Cost: JD224 Million
Under its gradual absorption policy, the Treasury has absorbed roughly JD224 million in cumulative price differences since the start of the crisis through the end of August, including household gas cylinder subsidies.
