Al-Quraan revealed the approval of the "Smart Inspection" system for driving license applicants. This system relies on:

Smart Vehicles: Utilizing cars equipped with advanced cameras and sensors to accurately monitor driver performance.
Transparent Evaluation: The test is based on 32 evaluation points. The electronic system covers 80% of the score to ensure integrity, while the remaining 20% is for human evaluation.

New Technical Inspection Schedule for Vehicles 2026

Technical inspection instructions have undergone fundamental amendments that grant car owners longer grace periods:

5-Year Exemption: Private vehicles are exempt from technical inspection for the first five years from the date of manufacture.

Investment Value of Distinguished Plate Numbers

Al-Quraan noted that revenues from distinguished plate number auctions are allocated to the Student Support Fund. He emphasized that acquiring these plates has become an added investment value for the vehicle and a growing social culture.
